Hello! My name is Manny and I've been a full time wedding photographer for the past 4 and 1/2 years, during which time I've shot hundreds weddings. I live in a great place called San Antonio. Tho, I also lived in Austin Texas for 3 years during which I went to the University of Texas at Austin and got a degree in film. Here I learned everything there is to know about cameras and lighting equipment. Then moved back to San Antonio and began my great journey of wedding photography and never looked back. From here I set up base and traveled the world shooting weddings for clients that care deeply about capturing their wedding as a story in an artistic manner. As of 5/22/16, I just recently completed my 29th destination wedding outside the USA. Doing what I'm so passionate about and traveling is like a dream come true. Below you will see some of the places that I've shot weddings.
My style: when I first began, I started as a fashion photographer where it requied a lot of direction. Maybe because of my film degree and my teachings of being a film director, I felt like I needed to direct everyone's poses and yell out directions. When I got back the images, they felt cold and staged. I immediately changed my style to a more passive story teller. I'm now a photojournalist, where it is to shoot quietly and unobstrusively in the background throughout most of the day. Then work with you to create dramatic and unusual environmental portraits when we've got a few minutes alone. The only times when I actually put on a director's hat is during the group family pictures. This is the perfect style for that because its clean, natural and REAL. Every story is different and this is the best way to tell it.
